Himalayan Holistic Mission (HHM) is a government-registered nonprofit organization (Registration No. 337289/08/81, Social Welfare Council Affiliation No. 58142, PAN No. 621147566), with its office located in Tarkeshwor-02, Kathmandu, Nepal. HHM is dedicated to serving vulnerable and marginalized communities in the Himalayan region of Nepal. Established in 2024, HHM grew from a vision rooted in compassion, personal experience, and a desire to bring holistic transformation to individuals and communities.
Our mission is to provide compassionate care, ensure access to quality education, and empower communities to thrive with dignity, hope, and opportunity. We believe true transformation is holistic—meeting immediate needs while building long-term solutions that strengthen people, families, and communities.
We envision a Himalayan region where lives are holistically transformed, hearts are uplifted, and communities thrive with joy and dignity.
HHM’s journey began with its Founder, Mr. Shusil Kumar Tamang, who grew up in a remote Himalayan village facing poverty, loss, and vulnerability. Despite challenges that interrupted his education, he vowed to help those in need if he ever gained stability. Over the years, he and his family quietly supported marginalized communities—offering seasonal apparel distribution, school supplies, and encouragement for sustainable livelihoods. In 2024, he officially established HHM to organize and expand these efforts for greater impact across the Himalayan region.
Today, HHM works through three core areas: Education, Compassion, and Sustainable Community Development. We provide scholarships and learning materials to children, distribute food, clothing, and emergency aid, and empower communities through heritage preservation, language and cultural awareness, and entrepreneurship training.
Guided by collaboration, integrity, and sustainability, HHM continues to uplift hearts, strengthen communities, and help every individual flourish with dignity, fulfillment, and joy.
